Marian Mantey
Marian Mantey is a product of National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) with a solid first degree in Film Directing from Legon University. Her 30 minutes feature won two awards in best photography and best supporting actor during the ‘Aniwa Festival’. She has a second degree in Strategic Communication from the African University College of Communications (AUCC), with a certificate in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management from GIMPA.
She served with GAMA Film Industry as an Assistant Director for the ever popular current affairs program ‘it’s not the news’. At GAMA films. She directed shows like ‘looking for love’ a dating reality show for three seasons and ‘bands alive’ a musical reality show for a season.
She has worked with TV3 for about 12 years rising through the ranks of a producer/director, coordinator and now an Assistant Manager in the Content Creation department. She has worked on all kinds of productions in entertainment, documentaries, talk shows, magazine shows, musical shows, cookery shows and reality shows. Her passion for television content is seen in her ability to produce and sustain viewership for the most popular show and CIMG TV program of the year 2014 ‘Edziban’. Her productions gained recognition in RTP and Prime Time Awards, where Asanka Delight, won the best culinary Tv show 2014.
She is well exposed to Television shows and having worked on Ghana’s Most Beautiful for seven seasons, she has the technical know-how in reality show productions.
