Marian Akosua Manko Mantey is a distinguished figure in the realm of media, public relations, and film production. Her illustrious career, spanning over two decades, attests to her exceptional abilities in crafting compelling narratives and orchestrating successful public relations endeavors.

Her educational journey is marked by significant milestones, culminating in a Master of Arts in Brands and Communications from the University of Professional Studies in 2022. Marian’s dedication to continuous professional development is evident in her Level 1 accreditation from the Institute of Public Relations in 2019, and her Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) in 2016. Marian’s foundational academic pursuits include a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Strategic Communications from the African University College of Communication (AUCC) spanning 2013 to 2015, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Directing from the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) from 1999 to 2003.

Her active engagement in the industry is further attested by her status as an Associate Member of the Institute of Public Relations (IPR), signifying her commitment to professional standards and ethics.

In 2016 her Television productions Asanka Delight and Edziban with TV3 Network Limited was awarded best Television programs of the year by CIMG.

In 2023, Marian was honored with the Top 25 PR Practitioner accolade at the prestigious Ghana Public Sector Awards, a testament to her unwavering dedication to authenticity, innovation, and excellence.

Currently serving as the Head of PR at the Institute of Film and Television part of the University of Media, Arts and Communications, UniMAC, Marian is instrumental in shaping the institution’s narrative. Her strategic insight and creative prowess leave an indelible mark on the academic landscape.

Marian’s impact extends beyond her professional endeavors. As the founder and manager of Koco Dluv Enterprise, a thriving snack business, she exemplifies entrepreneurship and is dedicated to community empowerment and job creation.
